The other side...?

Have you started feeling at home in Cartesio yet? The town has offered you every hospitality that its citizens could think of. They love every corner of this town and they want you to feel the same. Have you accepted Cartesio into your heart yet?

Then it should be comforting to wake in your hotel room. A ceiling you have gotten used to, the warmth of a blanket surrounding you, your own breathing... and silence. All-encompassing silence.
It perseveres when you leave your room, it perseveres when you leave the hotel... Cartesio is quiet because there is nobody in Cartesio who could be making noise. It's a ghost town.

There is only you now, you think. And then, just as you've given up, a noise comes to your ears. A voice, unmistakably. It's time to follow it.

As of Week 5 you may see random objects and buildings of any size flicker. For milli-seconds they seem to glow on and off, blur around the edges, even distort a little. It only happens for a moment at a time, but it happens fairly often.

Welcome to the Cartesio Graveyard. Your character has woken up in a version of the town that is devoid of citizens, but there do seem to be a few people around. Time to explore the mysteries of the other side. For a more thorough OOC guide, we have compiled an FAQ.

Shit! What the hell...

[ He'll push up his glasses for a moment to rub his eyes. RUDE. This is revenge for him trying to avoid reading in front of others, huh?

Anything else he can poke at here or should he move on? ]

[ Unless he wants more small town gossip and local history, he's done here and free to explore elsewhere. ]

[ He's good. Let's check things out. Is the NPC hanging here? Is he talking or just being boring? ]

[ Waver is around and he is talking, but it appears he is just leading some towns-person to a book they requested. Listening in on the conversation, Nine can find out that the person needs a book about Ancient Rome for a school project.

Waver is quiet most of the time, while the kid seems to chatter a lot. Conversation only breaches the tourists at the very end of the conversation and only for a short time, but Waver can be heard saying that they shouldn't all be lumped together. ]

Nine won't do anything to him then when the spookolypse happens. There any back rooms or stairs or something that looks out of place ~~secret labs behind book shelves maybe?~~? ]

[ Sadly, nothing of the sort. There's just books and books and more books. ]

[ Coming closer to see what Nine's up to, though now that he's done. ]

Oi. What're you lookin' at?

[ S'up baby ]

Huh? The newspaper archives, yo. It just did that weird as hell shit that started since we went to the lodge.

[ Give him a moment to realize. Glasses are still on and stuff. ]

[ Nm, Hun. ]

What the fuck? Were you actually able to read it when it did that?

[ It's okay, Bakugou will try to keep from making eyes at him in the meanwhile because even though they're together, that'd be still embarassing as hell... ]

Huh? No, but it changed back to how it was-

[ Oh shit. Nine was in the middle of indicating the papers when it clicks in. And he reaches up to touch what's on his face. Pulling them off. Doot de doo. ]

It did? So what did it say aft--why're you taking those off now?

[ Because surprise, Bakugou assumed that they're for reading. ]

[ Cause he's stupid and self conscious about looking cool.

He can't actually lie to Bakugou so... ]

Don't need them any more. Besides, they look kind of nerdy anyways.

[ He's sulking in his own way that he saw them. ]

Yeah, they look like absolutely fucking nerdy as all hell glasses...

[ There's a bit of a pause on his end there. ]

...but on you, they don't look half-bad. They actually look decent when you're wearing them - and obviously look good on you.

[ ... ]

You should wear 'em again.

Huh? Really?

[ He hesitates before putting them back on. Turning to face him but still not meeting his eyes. Look, he gets to see Nine being shy for a change. ]

Yeah. I wouldn't say something if I didn't mean it.

[ Bakugou reaches out with a hand to place against his cheek. ]

Look at me.

[ Nine knows that Bakky would have said if he looked stupid straight up. Meeting his gaze as he relaxes into that touch. ]

Yeah, I know.

[ He feels like he should be doing something with his hands. So he'll reach over to hook his thumbs into the shorter blond's pockets. ]

Did someone say something shitty about you being in glasses or something? I'll fucking kill them.

[ A few fingers lightly strokes at his cheek in sharp contrast to his harsh words, and since it's just the two of them, he'll shift closer following the other blond's actions. ]

[ Okay, that is stupidly sweet? Stepping in closer. ]

Huh? No. Just usually only geeks and nerds wear them, you know.

[ Nine is dumb. Also he has siblings and they all give each other shit all the time. ]

Just because you wear glasses doesn't mean you're a geek or shitty nerd. Trust me, I've seen too many of those back home, and know one personally to know for sure.

[ He'll lean upwards to give him a quick kiss. ]

[ Wow Bakky, aiming for the heart. Nine finds himself smiling and going for another kiss.

And then just going to lock on to what he's said earlier. ]

So you think I look good in them?

[ He's sounding more confident. ]

[ He's good at that, physically or metaphorically. ]

Yeah, you dumbass. You look ... fucking incredible in them. Got it?

[ His face is starting to flush a little, but he's supremely determined to let Nine know how ~~hot~~ badass he looks in them. ]

[ Would Bakugou fight Nine if he puts himself down? Not that he would... Nine knows he's good looking, even with the scar on his face. It's just glasses and his image that he seems to have issues with.

But with how cute his boyfriend is being right now, all of that goes right out the window. Moving a hand to his waist, while putting the other on his back to pull him closer. The best part about this place is that he doesn't have to worry about anyone making noise about walking in on them.

Giving him a longer kiss and another after that. ]

Hey, are you going to be like this every time I wear them?

[ Yes, he absolutely would. Don't even doubt it...!

Such is the fierce amount of his determination.

At the continuance of kisses, the other blond makes sure to return two of them this time, making the second one last a little longer, but also after Nine had asked his question. ]

... Hah? What's that supposed to mean?

[ He definitely knows what he's getting at, though, so that's why his face is getting kind of redder. ]

[ He will try to nuzzle against him, but glasses and all. So instead he'll just bump his forehead against his own. ]

You're being hell of cute again.

[ It's true that he is being cute, but it doesn't really cover the feelings there. There's something more there that feels overpowering, and a lot like Bakugou's quirk. ]

Maybe I'll wear them more, huh?

[ He might have to keep it between them. He doesn't really want to share these faces or reactions of Bakky's with anyone else. Giving him another kiss. ]

[ Bakugou will move his other arm so it's around Nine's waist, as he's brought into another kiss, pulling away himself for a second so he can speak. ]

And you're being an idiot. But yeah, you should...

[ Then he'll lean back in to continue where they left off. He can't deny that Nine has been the only one who's made him feel this way, and why would he want to, maybe that's why, thinking about it has him more eager in his ministrations. Which, of course do stop because there's been something on his mind. Ever since they've became what they have. ]

...Nine, do you remember I said to you, when we were in that lodge and you were about to stupidly shove your ass into that spot of darkness?
