GRAVEYARD

The other side...?
Have you started feeling at home in Cartesio yet? The town has offered you every hospitality that its citizens could think of. They love every corner of this town and they want you to feel the same. Have you accepted Cartesio into your heart yet?
Then it should be comforting to wake in your hotel room. A ceiling you have gotten used to, the warmth of a blanket surrounding you, your own breathing... and silence. All-encompassing silence.
It perseveres when you leave your room, it perseveres when you leave the hotel... Cartesio is quiet because there is nobody in Cartesio who could be making noise. It's a ghost town.
There is only you now, you think. And then, just as you've given up, a noise comes to your ears. A voice, unmistakably. It's time to follow it.
As of Week 5 you may see random objects and buildings of any size flicker. For milli-seconds they seem to glow on and off, blur around the edges, even distort a little. It only happens for a moment at a time, but it happens fairly often.
Welcome to the Cartesio Graveyard. Your character has woken up in a version of the town that is devoid of citizens, but there do seem to be a few people around. Time to explore the mysteries of the other side. For a more thorough OOC guide, we have compiled an FAQ.

[ HI KEET. ]
Oh? Yeah, go ahead.
[ Going to load the tape back in and record. His attention moving over to someone else for a moment to smile before back to her. ]
Go ahead, yo. I think Bakugou brought paper.
[ Any other messages guys? ]

What happens to her giant-ass head spikes when she does this? The same thing that happens when she wears her earmuffs, presumably.]no subject
[ And once the camera is pointing to her, she bows. Deeply. Very, very, deeply.
I'm sorry, Keith.
That's all she needs to say. ]

There's Keith and he's doing a number of gestures: 1. Pointing at himself, 2. Pointing at his ear. 3. Crossing his arms to make a giant X. 4. Miming writing words on a piece of paper and holding it out for the camera. 5. Another X with his arms.]

Does anyone speak Keith?
[ He probably wants them to write something? ]

[ Nine is going to draw a building. Recording it and then he'll scribble all over it while it's recording. ]
Let's try this.
[ Popping that tape in the vhs. ]

[ Bakugou holds up one piece of paper.
"Good job not fucking everything over somehow so far"
He moves the one piece of paper behind the other, which says, "There was some kind of weird shit in the fire station's surveillance room that looked like some kind of code."
He switches out the entire piece of paper for one in which he'd actually pre-wrote the entire code set much earlier. He has r.schw underlined, along with clip, default and align underlined as well. ]
You can end it now.

Going to step closer to get the paper clearly. And before he stops, the camera flips upwards to catch Nine for a moment before he turns it off. ]
Got it.
[ He'll go pop that into the machine next to play. ]

The smile is infectious ... in putting Bakugou into a good mood, even though he isn't exactly smiling just yet. ]
Good.

Hey, can you play these in your world?
[ The tapes ]

[ Wrapping a hand immediately around his for a moment. ]
Just making you do the recording because it's easier. [ ... ] Maybe after we're done hanging with them, we should record something just for ourselves for later.
no subject
Yeah, I'd like that. [ Oh yeah. Time to use his new knowledge. ] Hey, did you know there's smaller devices that plays music?
no subject
[ ... For the record he doesn't laugh at it. ]
Yeah, I used to listen to stuff on my mini music player all the time to block all the idiots out.
[ Okay not all the time, but still. ]

Oh yeah? FUCK THIS! Whoever is messing around with this needs to DIE!
[ He's thinking though what if he tries to write it in binary or something. Man he doesn't have time for this... ]
