GRAVEYARD

The other side...?
Have you started feeling at home in Cartesio yet? The town has offered you every hospitality that its citizens could think of. They love every corner of this town and they want you to feel the same. Have you accepted Cartesio into your heart yet?
Then it should be comforting to wake in your hotel room. A ceiling you have gotten used to, the warmth of a blanket surrounding you, your own breathing... and silence. All-encompassing silence.
It perseveres when you leave your room, it perseveres when you leave the hotel... Cartesio is quiet because there is nobody in Cartesio who could be making noise. It's a ghost town.
There is only you now, you think. And then, just as you've given up, a noise comes to your ears. A voice, unmistakably. It's time to follow it.
As of Week 5 you may see random objects and buildings of any size flicker. For milli-seconds they seem to glow on and off, blur around the edges, even distort a little. It only happens for a moment at a time, but it happens fairly often.
Welcome to the Cartesio Graveyard. Your character has woken up in a version of the town that is devoid of citizens, but there do seem to be a few people around. Time to explore the mysteries of the other side. For a more thorough OOC guide, we have compiled an FAQ.

Trial Speculating
Keith immediately starts in with something interesting ]
no subject
[ What else is he supposed to think of this fire. And what is he supposed to think of this suspect list? ]
no subject
[ He's so out of the loop about most of that stuff ]
no subject
[ Looking at the list, his face is blanker than usual. ]
Natalie and the paladin if we're talking people who are close enough. Don't think so, though.
no subject
[ Though hey, the town people they can actually see and hear are talking about Natalie's alibi. ]
Man, they got really close.
no subject
Nine's gonna have to find someone else for details if he wants them, cause Dabi would rather not talk about Natalie at length. Normally he'd be interested in this guessing game out of boredom, but not today. ]

It's been a long ass week. Or maybe a few long ass weeks. ]
An accident? What a fucking idiot.
[ So basically Bakugou is going to have a lot of his friends in the graveyard. ]
no subject
Were you guys close or something?
no subject
[ Unconsciously, he began kind of squeezing Nine's hand tight. Bolin was pretty much the first friend he made in this stupid town, so. ]
no subject
We can blow up the rest of the lodge after this.
no subject
It's not the same at all! Not if it was an accident! [Don't beat yourself up over it, Bolin.]
Re: Trial Speculating
It seems as though they are finally beginning to understand.
no subject
[ A beat and then he'll look at Dabi and then see if Hawks is around. ]
Hey, we actually have someone who signed it here.
no subject
You all knew about those papers?
[This is the first he's heard of them.]
no subject
You signed one of them back for my trial, yo.
no subject
no subject
[ Which is an unsettling thought ]

[ Nine doesn't have the papers on him. He left them at the hotel. Buuuuut ]
Only thing is that they weren't the culprit for that case they signed for. [ But it's Nine so someone else might be able to see another connection. So he's going to share what he remembers. ]
Let's see there was was also the really old guy who helped kill Jughead. He did it for Bakky's case. Then bandage fetish- er. I mean Dazai did it for Jugheads. Kino signed it for Millium, Azura, and Cian. And Oso did it for your trial.

Before we killed the waxing poet and the vagabond.
no subject
No no no. After that. Just before his confession, yo.
[ Pointing to Hawks. They can probably guess why the papers wound up kind of forgotten until now. ]
