GRAVEYARD

The other side...?
Have you started feeling at home in Cartesio yet? The town has offered you every hospitality that its citizens could think of. They love every corner of this town and they want you to feel the same. Have you accepted Cartesio into your heart yet?
Then it should be comforting to wake in your hotel room. A ceiling you have gotten used to, the warmth of a blanket surrounding you, your own breathing... and silence. All-encompassing silence.
It perseveres when you leave your room, it perseveres when you leave the hotel... Cartesio is quiet because there is nobody in Cartesio who could be making noise. It's a ghost town.
There is only you now, you think. And then, just as you've given up, a noise comes to your ears. A voice, unmistakably. It's time to follow it.
As of Week 5 you may see random objects and buildings of any size flicker. For milli-seconds they seem to glow on and off, blur around the edges, even distort a little. It only happens for a moment at a time, but it happens fairly often.
Welcome to the Cartesio Graveyard. Your character has woken up in a version of the town that is devoid of citizens, but there do seem to be a few people around. Time to explore the mysteries of the other side. For a more thorough OOC guide, we have compiled an FAQ.

When confessions happen
Dabi killed Dazai.
It just had to be Dazai, huh? Not Wayne, not anyone else... Oh, what cruel thoughts these are. Placing one life over others, how wrong of Cian, how vile, how... how villainous maybe. But she can't help it. She had never truly thought Dabi would go out of this without killing anyone. And she'd accepted it. Silently hidden this acceptance in her heart, even knowing it betrayed all the other people she's started to love. Cowardly, a traitor to all those she could truly love. Cian can't help but think that this who she is and always has been.
She just didn't think Dabi would kill... someone who mattered. Someone who in Cian's selfish, publicly incorrect, socially defective, aching heart mattered more than others.
Cian wraps her arms around her knees, buries her face in them. What is she feeling? Is it anger? Is it irrational betrayal? Simple sadness? She's not sure, but it does hurt. ]

It's not that she doesn't care. Far from. It's that there's simply nothing she can do.
She happens to be in again when the murmurs start up. And at first, all she can think is "Welp. Called it." But then there's Cian and... oh. Oh. Well, there's the most feeling she's had in her heart since she saw the photographs up there at the trial's start.
She goes and sits beside Cian, snuggled right up close beside her as she wraps her arms around her as best as she can.
She says nothing. There is nothing to say. But she has this.]

That's the first thought she has when she feels the comfort around her. She swallows it. It's a meaningless apology for feelings that she still has, that she cannot change so easily.
Millium has hated Dabi from the start and Cian can't blame her for it, especially not now... Millium was right, likely objectively, and Cian still can't share her feelings. Apologies don't cut it for this.
Millium likely knows this, too, and she's still here. There are other words for this, better words. ]
... thank you...

It's fine. Millium's drawn her own conclusions, just as Cian has. Millium certainly thinks Cian's are the wrong conclusions, but it is what it is.
Cian is hurting, and Cian hasn't done anything at all to deserve it. That's what matters, here. Millium knows that ache in one's chest that comes from betrayal – thanks, Nine and Olympia – and she'd never wish it on Cian, no matter how wrong Cian may be.
She shakes her head a little, which has the double effect of basically nuzzling her.]
You don't gotta thank me. ...I know it's hard.
We'll just have to give 'em hell when we see 'em. Okay?

gently, but very awkwardly, he places a hand on cian's back, just to show that he's there for her. ]

It takes a moment of silence, of simply being held by both of them, until Cian can look up and into Oda's eyes. ]
We'll see him again now, huh....
[ Dazai. United again. They didn't want this. ]

[ the townspeople were whispering in surprise of how dazai died trying to protect wayne; proof that he followed oda’s wish. so it makes even more sense that oda would be so angered by this. all that hard effort... for naught.
or, well, almost for naught. yes, because there’s still hope that at least someone won’t forget dazai’s name. perhaps he’ll live on in the minds of others. that, at least, wouldn’t be so bad. ]
I won’t let his effort be in vain.
no subject
Yes, that's... that's only fair.
[ She's not sure what it actually entails other than shooting Dabi, but she's not going to hold Oda back any step of the way. ]
... Bakugou-kun also mentioned that we might be able to come back alive... yet again. Maybe we really should look into that.
[ Now that both Millium and Dazai are involved, there are just so many people Cian would like to see have a second chance. ]
no subject
She doesn't have any idea what that might be, though. She can see what Millium and Oda are doing, but she doesn't think her hand will have the same comforting effect.
Well, she can come over and stand next to her. That's something.]
no subject
The situation is just bizarre... Olympia has killed her, Olympia is trying to comfort her, Olympia is... really every bit as contradictory and complicated as an organic human. Cian doesn't doubt tech like that is possible, she'd just maybe hoped robots would have it easier. ]
... another round of death without meaning, then. It will get livelier around here.
